Mumblepeg is the creation of artist, Nancy Palmer. In the 1970's Nancy's mother taught her how to knit, crochet and sew- which she shortly thereafter gave up due to impatience. Many years later, with a desire to engage in creative acts that offered a more tactile experience than a mouse click, she returned to the needle arts with a passion.
All of the goods at Mumblepeg are one-of-a-kind or few-of-a-kind depending on availability of materials. Our mission is to bring a few warm and cozy treasures into the world that look good enought to eat!
Nancy also does freelance graphic and web design under the moniker
Small Tree Studio. She'd love to hear from you if you're in need of some spiffy design.
Nancy has a BFA in Creative Photography and lives in San Francisco with her boyfriend, photographer
Cody Pickens, and their two feline companions: Stanley and Ella Brunswick.
